9.How do I take care of my Lovelots cake?

Should you choose to pick-up your cake, please be guided with proper handling measures to keep it at its best.

    • Provide a flat, secure, stable place for the cake. Never place it in the trunk. Your lap is also a safe place for the cake.
    • Drive carefully! We could not stress this more, especially if you have a multi-tiered cake.
    • If picking up a day before, store fondant cakes and cupcakes at room temperature. Do NOT refrigerate. Fondant will sweat once you take it out of the refrigerator and won’t look as good. Place your cakes/cupcakes in an air conditioned room instead, especially when the environment is humid (i.e. when raining). After the event, you may refrigerate the cakes and cupcakes.
    • Cakes and sugar figures may contain support structures inside (dowels, skewers, etc.) which are not edible.
    • Once sliced, keep cakes in an airtight container.
    • All cakes and cupcakes are baked fresh and without preservatives. It is best to consume within a week.
